We design our CAREX®, Technical Safety Walkways, at our factory in Avilés, Asturias.

Since February 1, 2026 , CAREX® has been operating as an independent company from Alusín Solar , having its own tax identification number and independent corporate structure.

Profiling Train

Our production capacity can reach 290 m/h with our 12-station profiling train.

The manufacturing process consists of:

  • Arrival of the 5-ton strapping treated with MAGNELIS protection.
  • Placement in a winder and flattening press to remove imperfections.
  • Machining grooves and holes on the 100-ton press. This is the key step in creating the CAREX anti-slip surface.
  • Cold forming on the 12-station roll forming line where the CAREX part is given the necessary shape.
  • Finally, in the Grinding section, the automatic cutting line gives the piece the necessary length.

5,000 m2 Factory

In addition to the main building, we have a second building for manufacturing, storage and logistics management.

We highlight the presence of CAREX, a technical safety corridor, in more than 32 countries.

Sending materials directly to the construction site is a reality for us.

FAQ

No, according to UNE-EN 1090 regulations, corridors are exempt from CE marking.

Yes, but it’s important to note that the walkway needs to be anchored to the deck for use. Therefore, if it needs to be dismantled, the holes drilled during installation must be filled.

The maximum roof slope it allows is 15º.

Each corridor must have one support every 1.5 meters; 3 supports for a 3-meter corridor section and 2 supports for a 1.5-meter section.

Yes, but its installation does not eliminate or replace the use of other safety means, individual or collective, such as lifelines, fall arrest nets and other safety equipment for working at height.

No, we currently do not have any system to restore the roof slope and leave the walkways in a horizontal position.

No, we do not currently have lifeline systems.

CAREX is a technical safety walkway created specifically for walking on roofs with maximum grip in the studies carried out.

TRAMEX is a metal structure, similar to a grid, commonly used in construction and industry, not specifically for roofing.
